Asian food is an absolutely different world as compared to the European cuisine. People there can eat all they can find from leaves on the trees to insects from the ground.
With no doubt, we call it Asian food in general, but each Asian region has its own cuisine peculiarities. For example, in the southwest people eat flat bread called nun and a lot of curry; in the northeast they use much oil and species; southeast is famous for its lightly cooked food. But over the region differences you will face the countries' peculiarities of Asia: sushi for Japan, insects for China, Korean food is full of fresh vegetables and fish. So if you decide to come to Asia, try as many different dishes as you can so later on you would be able to distinguish Burman dish from the Cambodia's one. And don't forget to make wishes when trying any dish for the first time in your life!
